Round Shims & Arbor Shims

Round shims and arbor shims, sometimes called slitter shims, are washer-like shims that help reduce the axial movement of components on a shaft or rod. They are made with specific metal formulations and machining processes to ensure an exact fit. They are commonly used to space out components on machinery arbors such as saws and grinding tools.
