Safety & Disconnect Switches

Safety and disconnect switches provide manual control of electrical circuits to connect and disconnect power from industrial machinery, electrical systems, and motors for maintenance or in an emergency. They have enclosed constructions that protect their internal components from impacts, debris, and dust. Safety disconnect switches open and close circuits in multi-load applications. Safety disconnect switches with interlock receptacles have keyed receptacles where power cables insert to draw power to multi-load systems. Motor disconnect switches connect and disconnect power to single-load equipment and systems. Air conditioner disconnect switches control power to HVAC and refrigeration equipment. Solar power disconnect switches safely de-energize solar panels for maintenance and in emergencies. Hazardous-location disconnect switches have constructions that can be used in environments where flammable gases, liquids, flyings, and other combustible materials are present.
