Anaerobic Gasket Makers

Anaerobic gasket makers have better sealing properties for close-fitting, precision machined metal surfaces than RTV gasket makers. They seep into tight fitting spaces and cure in the absence of air and in the presence of metal ions. Anaerobic gasket makers have an extended cure time allowing for more adjustments during assembly.

  • This single-component anaerobic sealant is designed for aluminum, iron, and steel-flanged mating surfaces. The red, thixotropic gel can withstand a continuous temperature range of -55 to 150 Degrees C and has a flashpoint of greater than 93 Degrees C. This sealant begins to harden in one to two minutes and fully cures in 24 hours. This product comes in a 50-millilitre tube.
