This silica blanket is 36 inches x 50 yards, with a material weight of 36 ounces per square yard. Silica cloth is of use where the material needs to be flexible and is exposed to high heat applications such as heat treating. Uncoated fibreglass has similar features with a melt temperature of 1000 Degrees F.
