Single-Sided Splicing Tape
This single-sided splicing tape is a thin, high-strength tape that joins two materials to increase their overall length or to join two rolls of material together. It has a backing made of paper or film. A paper backing is repulpable and suitable for use in paper milling processes. Film tapes with a polyester, polyethylene, or UPVC (unplasticized polyvinyl chloride) backing are intended for more rigorous splicing applications. Reflective splicing tape has a metalized-coating that provides easier detection in film splicing applications.
