Machining Layout Fluids

Machining layout fluids are applied in a thin layer onto workpieces to reduce glare and create contrasting backgrounds that show scribed lines on workpieces during machining. Sometimes called marking blue or layout dye, layout fluids prepare workpieces for scribing to maximize the accuracy of cutting and grinding operations. Layout fluid remover cleans workpieces when machining is completed.
