Hardfacing Flux-Cored Wire
Hardfacing flux-cored wire provides filler metal for creating wear-resistant surfaces on metal parts to extend their service life. It is typically used to repair worn parts or overlay new parts. The wire's flux core helps deoxidize the workpiece material, stabilize the welding arc, reduce spatter, increase the mechanical properties of the wire alloy, and/or protect the weld pool from contaminants during welding. This wire comes on a coil or spool and is fed through a compatible gun in FCAW (flux-core arc welding) tasks.
