General Purpose Cutting Oils

General purpose cutting oils lubricate cutting tools and workpieces during machining operations. Also known as straight oils, they help reduce friction and trap debris created by lathes, drills, or mills. Liquid oils are dispensed with squeeze bottles or coolant systems that distribute the oil during machining processes. Aerosol oils are sprayed on a part or workpiece.
