Four-Leg Chain Slings
Four-leg chain slings secure loads from four lifting points to help prevent tilting and keep the load stable and balanced. Also known as quad-leg chain slings, they distribute weight equally on four sides to maximize stability and control and are ideal for loads that are extremely heavy, bulky, or odd-shaped. Multi-leg chain slings lift loads at 30°, 45°, and 60° angles. Chain slings have strong, flexible constructions that withstand heavy loads, extreme temperatures, abrasive conditions, and chemicals. Their legs connect and branch off from a master link and lift simultaneously with the master link to distribute the load equally. Chain slings have identification tags with information regarding their rated capacities set by their manufacturer that should be carefully reviewed before use. The rated capacity of a chain sling should always exceed the weight of the load. Note: These chain slings should never be used to lift people.
