Fluorescent Strip Lights

Fluorescent strip lights are linear surface-mount fixtures with a housing that's slightly larger than the light bulbs it holds. They have no lens or cover, so they are well suited for supplying direct, general light in workshops, access corridors, back-of-house areas, and other spaces where the exposed bulbs are unlikely to be hit. Fluorescent strip lights are typically mounted to ceilings but are sometimes used with chains for suspension mounting. They use linear light bulbs in a size that matches the fixture and with a base type that matches the fixture ballast. Bulbs can be selected to get the desired lighting tone (colour temperature) and brightness (lumens).
